Punctuating Life

"Your life is either a question or an exclamation. Find your passion & make your mark."

I don't know where I first read those words, though the above statement sure has come in handy this summer as we discuss the upcoming school year with our (gasp!) rising Senior. The year will fly by with school activities, Senior Project, college visits, and all the 'grime of daily living' events thrown into the mix.

Son#1 is navigating the waters well, and we are certain he'll make good life choices as he makes his mark this year. And though I love to tell him to find his passion & make his mark, I'd be remiss if I didn't remind him to be strong in the Lord & have great courage. Even if he stumbles, our God is there to pick him up and put him back on the right path.

What words of wisdom do you give?

Happy Sunday!

    1. Oh, I don't know, Shay. I think you always impart words of wisdom on your blog. I've learned quite a bit from you. :)
Thanks for the good thoughts. It's going to be an amazing year for him.

  2. Oh wow, a senior already? DT is a junior this year and it seems like it will be tomorrow that she'll graduate. Good luck with all the college prep activities.

    1. Thanks, Kate!
His JR year went fast, so I imagine this year will fly right on by, too.
He's already prepping for the school year, building his college application portfolios.
Frijoles! I don't remember having to do all that when I was in school.
