Day One

A little haiku to celebrate Day One of 2015. My brain's being creative this morning...since it got great rest last night. I almost made it to ten o'clock. ;) The pork tenderloin is in the slow cooker, black-eyed peas and collard greens will be atop the stove soon. Now if I can just convince LittleGirl to stay wrapped under the quilts instead of taking her shopping at the mall... Ha!

Enjoy the day
and dwell on the possibilities
a fresh year brings.
Do you make resolutions or new starts this day?

Happy New Year, friends!

  1. Happy New Year! I have to venture out to Walgreens and as cold as it is, I'm definitely not looking forward to it.

I survived the mall with LG. I think we loved the holidays, but we're all ready to return to our normal schedules.
