Happy Sunday!

I've been thinking a lot about how I pray & how I've been in a rut with my prayer life.
At one particular moment, I decided to look through my bible & simply pray His word.
I've been posting these prayer snippets on Twitter & Pinterest this past week.
You can find them here:  Pray His Word

Happy Sunday!

  1. I've also been in a rut. Praying that God will unlock our hearts to praise Him deeper and thus move us straight into His presence. Happy Sunday!

    1. Those ruts can get deep if we don't cling to Him, yes? Thank you for prayers & lifting you as well. As my little girl would say, we can do anything if we just remember to praise Him...'Yay, God!' ツ

  2. I know that understanding the Word of God is the number one surveyed concern of Church members, but improving prayer life is right up there near the top too. They say that you need to aware before we can beware of the distractions in life that draw us away from communion, fellowship, and intimate relationship with the Lord. When we fall into a rut, the Lord says to "Get up" and walk with Him. What a blessing! Thank you for bringing to light what we are missing sometime.

  3. I've been praying for a way out of our troubles, but know that deep down I should be praying for forgiveness.

    1. That's a tough one, yes? I usually want the blessings without doing the work of asking forgiveness first. Pride. It gets in my way every time. Sigh.

I'll keep you in my prayers, friend. Rely on Him. ((HUGS))

  4. I too have been in a rut, still am. Praying His Word is helpful. The next step would be to open it. I need lots of help. The spirit seems willing, the body idiotic. But, enough about me. How are you? Happy Heart Day!

    1. Hello, dear friend! I'm entrenched in the rut at the moment. Sigh. Yes, opening His word is what I need to do. Life is almost too much at the moment, but I'm working on aligning to His will. :)

Hope your Friday was wonderful! Let's plan a get-together for this Spring, okay? :) Love-n-Hugs!
