When They Still Wear It

She still wears it.
Two years after I fell in love with the fabric, and dreamed of stitching it into something pretty for my sweet LittleGirl to wear, she still wears it.

Remember this pillowcase dress? LittleGirl has grown over a foot taller since I made the dress for her, yet she still wears it. Here she is then:

And here she is this morning before school:

Makes a Momma's heart swell to know that her LittleGirl still enjoys wearing the clothes that were crafted especially for her.

What makes your heart proud today?

Happy Wednesday!

  1. I love that she still wears this creation. That was money and time well spent !

I think you're going to have to make another soon though...

    1. Thanks, Shay. Yeah, I keep saying we're going to have to give her coffee & cigarettes to stunt her growth. ;) Have no idea where she gets those long legs. They're almost longer than mine. She's only 10, for cryin' out loud!

  2. Oh how cute! I remember when I used to be amazed at how a top could be reinvented so many times over the years by my daughter. Actually, some of those tops started out as dresses. What fun.
