Christ is Risen! Truly He is Risen!
Today, we will celebrate Easter with DH's family. As Greek Orthodox Christians, they follow the Julian calendar rather than the Gregorian calendar of other religions. Yesterday, we spent the day preparing an Easter feast. We'll serve up Dolmades, Spanikopita, Greek Spaghetti, Greek Salad, as well as some Southern favorites; Asparagus Casserole, Banana Pudding, Chocolate Eclair, and Coconut Cake. Yum!
Today, there will be 24 of our family members...early 80s to new babies...that will gather as we celebrate our risen LORD. I love this Sunday celebration!
