Au Courant - American Girl Doll Nightgown

LittleGirl awoke this morning, and asked me to check "Joseph" to see if we had snow. Huh? Joseph? Momma had to think a minute. Oh! You mean 'Noah' ( - the weather forecast page. Go ahead and giggle. I did. ☺

While no snow has fallen, it is definitely chilly in the South. Flannel Pyjamas are a must! LittleGirl's AG Doll  has a set of pyjamas I made last year. Honestly, it was just a cut-on-fabric and sew kind of set. The pants are easy, but the top needs work. Since I get a lot of requests for this from my Pinterest page, I'm working out the pattern for the top. I should have the pattern set ready by this weekend.

Though she had a set of pyjamas, LittleGirl's Doll needed a flannel nightgown. Needed, I tell ya! Yesterday I worked on a nightgown pattern. It's only two side seams for quick and easy sewing. It's almost there. It needs a bit of tweaking to get the fit 'just right'. Here's what I have so far...

See how it's kinda bunched under her arms?
Gotta work on that, and then I'll have a new pattern for you!
