According to Plan

Thanks for your thoughts on my dress hem. I ended up making it tea-length. The next one...yes, I'll definitely be making another from this pattern...will be a shorter version. I may even make a tunic to go with leggings for the fall. It's a versatile pattern that will be a great wardrobe filler this year.

If all goes according to plan, I'll be viewing this skyline at sunset tonight. Say a prayer, please. Life is a bit crazy. My sister, and traveling companion, is having issues with sick kids (nasty strain of strep). DH has had several migraines this week, and has been dealing with lots of pain. School starts on Monday for the boys. I'm feeling S-T-R-E-S-S-E-D about leaving the family for a few days.

In all the craziness,  I haven't responded to your sweet comments and fabulous blog posts. Please know it's because in my moments of quiet, I've had my head in my Bible. I've been soaking up the middle and last chapters of Isaiah. Wow! There's some good stuff in there!

For I am the LORD your God
who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
Isaiah 41:13

Verses like this one are so comforting to me. I feel as though I've been under spiritual attack the last couple of weeks. I'm looking forward to the weekend and the Women of Faith Conference. If you're a bloggy friend who is attending, I hope to see you and give you a real hug!

Thank you Women of Faith and BookSneeze for this terrific opportunity! Jfer and I are super-excited to attend. I can't wait to tell y'all, my sweet bloggy friends, about our experiences when I return. And, of course, life will be less-crazy so I can chat and respond to your comments and posts. ☺

What do you do when you're feeling S-T-R-E-S-S-E-D?

Happy Thursday!
