A to Z Challenge { U and V }

Today's letters: U and V

It was the utinam of the vadalect that the undern he served would be received without velitation. Unfortunately, serving the requested meal of ulginous uropygium with a side of varec to the viraginous host, was sure to cause vituperation from the guests. At least the vadalect was volable and upbeat, as he vacated the room before the upset was upon him.

Special thanks to Noah Webster and his Unabridged Dictionary for the 'U' and 'V' words

utinam...earnest wish, desire

vadalect...servant

undern...light midday meal
velitation...skirmish
uliginous...slimy, oozy
uropygium...rump of a bird
varec...seaweed, kelp

viraginous...loud, overbearing woman
vituperation...rejection
volable...quick-witted

Thank you sweet bloggy friends

over the weekend and yesterday.
My 'puter problems are still being ironed out.
Son#1 will work on it for me after classes today.
(I think it's Vista and an update issue.)
