A to Z Challenge { R }

We interrupt the regularly scheduled blog posts
for April's A to Z Challenge!
I'm testing my writing skills with fiction.
These may consist of an opening paragraph, or might even end up as an entire short-story.
I have no idea where my fingers and keyboard will take me
as I'm inspired with each day's corresponding letter.
Take the journey with me!
I look forward to your feedback.
Today's letter:  R
Reva tried to ignore her remuant feelings as she drove to this recondite and rusticated area. What a rectalgia ride this was! Reva was only trying to redintegrate her sister's ridiculous purchase to the rom who sold these reliquaries. Reva let out a risible sound as she recalled her last conversation with Risa, her sister. That rom had convinced Risa the remains in the reliquary would return a roscid glow to Risa's face. What Risa really needed was a rhytidectomy!

Special Thanks to Noah Webster and his Unabridged Dictionary for the 'R' words

rusticated...sent to the country
recondite...out of the way
rectalgia...pain in the backside restore
reliquaries...small box to hold relics
rhytidectomy...operation to remove wrinkles

Care to fess up?
Have you had a rhytidectomy? ;o)

Happy Thursday!
