A to Z Challenge { H }

We interrupt the regularly scheduled blog posts
for April's A to Z Challenge!
I'm testing my writing skills with fiction.
These may consist of an opening paragraph, or might even end up as an entire short-story.
I have no idea where my fingers and keyboard will take me
as I'm inspired with each day's corresponding letter.
Take the journey with me!
I look forward to your feedback.
Today's letter:  H

Heretofore, Henry had a huge hersternopothia. He disremembered the hobbledehoy hours of hylicism like a halation. Hank hérisséd as he hented to hamschakle the hints of his past. For now, Hank would haussemannize his mind until it was holosteric once again with thoughts of only his hereafter.

Special thanks to Noah Webster and his Unabridged Dictionary and the 'H' words.

Heretofore...until now
hersternopothia...yearning for yesterday or earlier times
hobbledehoy...awkward, gawky youth
hylicisim...materialism
halation...blurring of a photograph due to light reflection
hérisséd...bristled
hented...grasped, seized
hamshackle...restrain
haussemannize...rebuild
holosteric...completely solid
hereafter...future

Thanks so much if you're visiting today.
I typically hop about Bloggerville in the AM;
however, it will be late this evening before
I get a chance to visit you.
Thanks for leaving a comment!
I'll be sure to stop by and see you later today. :o)

Happy Saturday!
