Thursday Concatenation

I think I need to do something fresh and new with my hair. As I was working on a project yesterday, I must have brushed my bangs off my face a million times. Instead of side-swiping them, I ran my hand straight up and over them. The boys came into the room, and this is the quiet conversation I overheard...

Son#2:  Did you see Mom's hair?
It's standing up like she's been electrocuted!

(sniggering ensues)

Son#1:  It's because she has old hair.
She can make it all bendy like that 'cause it's so old.

(spoken with an authoritative and older-brother-so-I-know-everything tone)

I love my boys! Their take on life is so different from mine sometimes. They keep me on my toes with their brutal honesty. :o) Plus, they've prompted me to change my hairstyle. *grin*

I've been in a sewing slump this week. Not a stitch has been created by machine or by hand. Looking for some inspiration, I searched my favorite blogs. Today, I'll share them with you. :o)
Thursday Concatenation

I love to read blogs and look at so many different websites!
There are wonderful blogs that I have found.
Even though we don't write about the same subjects,
or necessarily share all the same interests, we're connected by our blogs.
I have many interests, and therefore, read blogs on all sorts of topics.

That's CONCATENATION...a series of interconnected or interdependent things or events.
In an effort to share and connect the blogs/sites I enjoy reading, I'm featuring three of them each Thursday.

Be sure to leave some comment love when you drop by these fabulous blogs.
To Sew With Love
You'll find some fabulous tutorials on this blog! The "3 Ladies" love to sew and have giveaways. There's a great linky party on Saturdays too. Be sure to click on the "FREEBIES" link. You'll find their colorful tutorials and some patterns. I am 'sew' wanting to stitch up that Owl Pillow!

I've never seen another blogger who sews and produces such cute crafty items as Sandy does! If you've been in a sewing drought, you'll definitely be inspired by Sandy's creations. Go take a peek, and give her some comment love and a follow. You'll be glad you did. :o)

Wow-oh-wow. I was totally blown away by all the information that is packed into this blog. Couturier Mommy is a fashion designer / pattern maker/ teacher who is currently a SAHM. She graciously shares her knowledge with a cache of tutorials. With all her video tutorials, you'll be spending quite a bit of time soaking up her sewing sagaciousness.

What have you been creating? What do you do when you're in a slump?
Happy Thursday! :o)

PS...Here's a Shout-Out to Gregg at Gospel-driven Disciples...HAPPY BIRTHDAY, FRIEND!
