Thursday Concatenation

I love to read blogs and look at so many different websites!

There are wonderful blogs that I have found. Even though we don't write about the same subjects, or necessarily share all the same interests, we're connected by our blogs. I have many interests, and read blogs on all sorts of topics. That's CONCATENATION...a series of interconnected or interdependent things or events. In an effort to share and connect the blogs/sites I enjoy reading, I'm featuring three of them each Thursday.

I never know what I'm going to find at Janae's blog, but know I'll always be pleasantly surprised. Whether it's a Scrappy Pumpkin Quilt Block turned into a pillow, or a darling Pin Cushion, Janae shows off her passion with tutorials. She also has a sister website where you can purchase some patterns from her. Go check it out!

This is a new-to-me-site that I love! As a blogger, I enjoy 'meeting' new people from all over the world. With Postcrossing, I can connect to others on another level while practicing my penmanship. :o) This site is free and super-easy to join. Remember all those postcards you purchased while on vacation? Here's a way to use them!

Since every time we turn on the news in the United States, we find people debating and campaigning, I decided to turn it into a history lesson for my boys. To see the process, we've been investigating our nation's historical documents. These can be viewed online, along with many other fascinating papers at the National Archives. Be sure to take a look at the Online Exhibits while you're at this site. History always becomes a little more personal with pictures. :o)

Happy Thursday and Happy Reading!
