Stacked Coin Tote?

Son#2 and his ocean find!
Here's another photo from our beach trip. The first day out, Son#2 pulled a big sand dollar out of the ocean! There was some great ocean life washed up on shore thanks to Hurricane Earl. :o) Oh, and take a closer look at the photo. Do you see LittleGirl got into the shot? She gave the Sand Dollar bunny ears! She thinks that's so hilarious right now. Thank you Public School System and the Variety of Kids we meet! LOL

Did you see the fabric I won? There's a picture in yesterday's post. :o) I was trying to decide what to sew with all that gorgeous fabric. As someone said to me, "Doesn't it just scream baby quilt?" Well, yes; however, I'm not up for a baby quilt right now. I have too, too many projects to cross of my list.

My neighbor is expecting her first baby, a girl, in October. These fabrics are perfect to sew for the new baby. I've wanted to try a Stacked Coin Quilt, but that's too big a project. I'm envisioning a Stacked Coin Tote instead. Okay, all you quilters. Is there a Stacked Coin Tote or Diaper Bag pattern out there? I need some links, sewers! If not, I'm going to have to figure it out all on my own. Surely, there's someone out there who's already thought of this, and posted a tutorial/pattern.

What are you sewing/crafting today? If you're visiting today, Welcome! Please leave me a comment so I can visit your blog!
