Sew & Tell Friday

I'm coming to Amylouwho's Sew & Tell Party late this Friday, but for good reason. I've been celebrating my niece's birthday. Cutie's mom picked up LittleGirl and me, G'ma, and Ju-Ju, and drove us to Atlanta. We celebrated in style at the American Girl Store. We had the best time watching Cutie pick out her doll, and then we feasted in the Bistro. After shopping and staying overnight, we rounded out the celebration with Manicures & Pedicures for the girls today. We stopped over in Commerce to shop for bargains at the outlets (there really weren't any), and then came home. It was two full days of Birthday Fun!

So, what is my Sew & Tell? I stitched up a doll quilt for Cutie. Here are some snaps from earlier posts this week, and one of the quilt in use last night. :o) I foresee lots of American Girl sewing in the near future, as Cutie has been bitten by the AG bug. As we walked through the store, she would ask, "Aunt La-la, can you make one of these for me?"

And just for fun, here's a snap of the girls getting ready to go have their Mani/Pedi's. They're quite the little primpers! LOL

See their cute little hairdos? They just 'had to have' hair enhancers when they saw them at the mall. Cutie was skipping through the mall, when all of a sudden, her hair piece fell out. LittleGirl yelled, "Oh no! You lost your hair kabob!" Thus, a new name has been created. LOL

Go stop by Amylouwho's and see what everyone has been sewing this week. And don't forget to stop by Lush Friday too!
