Ironing Mishap and Giveaway Continues

This is what happens when you ask your 10-year old son to turn on the iron for you...

Oh well, I was needing a new cover anyway. Thankfully, I have plenty of gorgeous fabric in my stash. I've been wanting to re-do my sewing room. You know, add some curtains and re-cover a chair. I think that's what I'll sew today. :o)

Son#2 called from the Dance Party last evening. He wanted to be picked up early. When I asked if he was alright, he replied, "Yeah. I'm having fun, but nobody's dancing! I'm ready to come home." LOL!

On another note...we had tragedy strike yesterday afternoon.
The Wii was knocked over and met an untimely demise. It's beyond kaput. The kids are devastated. Poor Son#1. He'd been saving up for a Wii points card, and had only a couple dollars to go.

In the wake of this tragedy, I told them I'd help out with the expense of a new one. If you're on the lookout for some good deals on sewing patterns...New and Vintage...keep an eye on my blog. I'll be selling some in the next week after I do an inventory and photo session. :o)

Because of yesterday's events, I did not have an opportunity to look around at what everyone's created this week. I'm off to blog hop! Happy Saturday!
