Giveaway and Sew & Tell Friday

Look what I found when I went out to water my Sweet Potato Plant last night. Up until yesterday, the baby Carolina Wrens were hidden in their nest. His sister flew out yesterday. His Momma is no where to be found. I'm not sure why the little guy hasn't left yet. He sure has been fun to watch! Click the snap for a better view.

I've been playing around on my blog so much this week, that I didn't get a lot of sewing done. I'm a computer geek at heart. I just don't have the savvy chops to write html code! :o)

I did manage to whip up an EyeSpy Bag for my nephew's birthday. He loves it! I saw him again last evening and he wanted to show everyone what he kept finding. Grandma really liked it too. Hmm...perhaps I need to make one for Ginko's house for the toy closet. Click on the snap for a larger view.
I definitely need to sew today. Son#2 has a birthday party to attend this evening. It's his first Dance Party. Oh how I wish I could stay and watch how this goes! Boys on one side of the room, girls on the other. The little girl who is celebrating her birthday is such a doll. I'm thinking one of MadeByRae's Buttercup Bags will work. They're so easy to put together. I've made them as gifts before, and they are well-received. I'll add some nail polish and decals, and Hooray! The present is finished. I'll post pictures when it's complete.

Oh, don't forget to stop by my earlier post and enter my Giveaway! Here's a peek at one of the prizes...
